FAQs

What locations do you shoot at for UC Riverside grad photos?

My go-to spots on campus are the Rivera Library arches, the Bell Tower and surrounding lawn, and the School of Business building. Each one offers a solid mix of architecture and open space. If you have another location on campus in mind, I'm happy to work with that as well.

What should I wear?

Graduation shoots: Wear your cap and gown and bring the outfit you want underneath. Most people do a few shots in full regalia and then take the gown off to show their outfit. Entirely up to you.

Creative portraits: Bring 1 or 2 outfits that fit the mood you're going for. Earth tones and solid colors photograph well outdoors. I'd recommend avoiding busy patterns or large logos. If you're unsure, send me your options and I'll help you narrow it down.

How many photos will I receive?

The numbers listed in each package are the minimum. I don't withhold photos. I edit and deliver everything that came out well, so you'll typically receive more than what's listed. If you'd also like the raw unedited files, just let me know and I can send those over. You can expect your final photos within 3 to 5 days.

How do you edit the photos?

All editing is done in Lightroom. The style depends on the type of shoot, so graduation photos get a clean, professional look while creative sessions may lean moodier or more stylized. If you're not satisfied with the editing direction, let me know and I can adjust or try a different approach. I want you to be genuinely happy with your photos.

Why is there a deposit?

A $20 deposit is required when you confirm your date and time. It goes directly toward your session total, so it's not an additional charge. The purpose is to secure your timeslot and ensure that every booking is committed. The deposit is non-refundable, but if plans change it can be applied toward a rescheduled date.
